Take a break from Halloween celebrations for this workshop all about Mexico's cultural holiday. Visiting artist Paulina Perera-Riveroll will teach families retablos, small boxes that are used to honor loved ones. Using found natural materials, objects, and an optional photo from home children can create their own retablo. Families are also welcome to contribute to the group "altar" honoring a beloved former resident of Wave Hill, the copper beech tree that once stood in Shade Border.
