Participants choose from two mini-camps that vary in their artistic focus. Magical Mega Manga Camp teaches anime fans to draw their own manga and even join Zoe, one of Kyoto’s art university students at the end of August for a weeklong manga intensive. Wowza Arts Intensive Mini-Camp offers a mix of disciplines along with frequent museum visits and gallery hops. Magical Mega Manga Camp (ages 6 to 16) runs June 17–28, July 7–18 and July 21-Aug 1. Two-week session $2,400. Magical Mega Manga Immersion with Zoe runs Aug 24-30, Mon–Fri 9:30am–3:30pm. One-week session $1,500. Wowza Arts Intensive Mini-Camp runs June 16–27 and July 7–Aug1, Mon–Fri 9:30am–noon (ages 3 to 5 with adult companion) or 9:30am–3:30pm (ages 5 to 15). Two-week session $2,500 (half day), $4,950 (full day). Three days/week session $750 (ages 3-5 with adult companion), $1,500 (ages 5-15.)
