Cranksgiving NYC

Partake in one of New York's most unique holiday events this year—on your bicycle! This action-packed fundraiser has folks on bikes (families can work together as a team) race to complete a scavenger hunt (longer and shorter rides are available, depending on your crew/biking experience), ultimately collecting food items to donate to The Bowery Mission. All you need to participate is a bicycle, $15–$20 cash to purchase food items, a bike lock for each bike (you'll need to lock up outside several grocery stores) and the ambition to find some great stuff around the city for families in need. In 2017, the event gathered more than 1,900lbs of food—including whole turkeys! Registration begins at 1pm at Hudson Yards Park (34th St between 10th and 11th Aves). Event starts at 2pm. All ages.
