Time Out says

A holiday tradition at the Met Museum since 1957, this towering Christmas tree and 18th century Nativity scene will wow even the most unimpressed kids. Today, over 200 Neapolitan figurines create this incredible scene, many of which were collected by the late artist and collector Loretta Hines Howard starting in 1925. An enormous Christmas tree looms behind the Nativity set featuring 50 angels. This spectacular set makes for a lovely family holiday photo and a great excuse to check out the Met during the holiday season. All ages.
