Charlie Parker Jazz Festival Family Concert

At this concert geared toward the five-and-under set, parents can give tots a kid-friendly primer in modern jazz before the three-day Charlie Parker Jazz Fest kicks off in Marcus Garvey and Tompkins Square parks. Grammy-nommed Matt Parker heads the interactive show, which, as with any SummerStage event, will likely fill up fast; be sure to arrive early. Ages 8 months to 5 years.
