Keep your brood entertained throughout the eight days and nights of Hanukkah courtesy of the JCC's gratis pop-up celebrations. For the first night of the Festival of Lights (Sat Dec 8), little ones can usher in the holiday with the Guy Mendilow Ensemble's signature Ladino melodies and indulge in North African and Sephardic treats. The revelries continue with an appearance by the Jewish Journey Project Chorus (Sun Dec 9), Hanukkah sing-alongs (Mon Dec 10, Wed Dec 12), a drum circle and oil tasting (Tue Dec 11) and a klezmer concert and sampling of latkes from chef Jennifer Abadi (Thu Dec 13). Wrap up the festivities with a JCC staff meet-and-greet, which includes a wine tasting for grownups (Fri Dec 14), followed by story telling with Shawn Shafner and a helping of delicious jelly donuts (Sat Dec 15). All ages.
