RECOMMENDED: Christmas for kids in New York
Every winter, families look foward to the opening of the Bryant Park Winter Village—an NYC winter staple. The ongoing festival brings tons of family-friendly activities to the space, including a holiday market with prime shopping and an awesome rink for some of the best ice-skating in NYC. One of our favorite ways to celebrate the season is grabbing a cup of the best hot chocolate from a local vendor, gazing up at the gorgeous tree and paying a visit to Santa in the village.
What is the Bryant Park Winter Village?
Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is an annual series of events combining holiday shopping, ice-skating and visits with Santa during the winter and holiday season. Much of the park is transformed into a pop-up market, filled with local vendors selling gift items alongside the iconic ice-skating rink. A decorated holiday tree stands in the village, just near the seasonal restaurant, Celcius, and Santa stops by once in a while to visit with the children.
