Brooklyn Friends School Winter Fest

Brooklyn families can get into the holiday spirit at this local festival organized by the Brooklyn Friends School. Kids can pick and choose from a packed schedule of fun, hands-on activities, like filmmaking with Automatic Studios, skateboarding with Homage Skateboarding, candymaking with Chocolate Works, Brazilian Dancing with Raizes de Campaneiro and lego building with Vision Education & Media. They can also play "celebrity" BINGO with local V.I.P.s, don costumes and props in the holiday photo booth, get primped with face-painting and hair extensions, take a spin in the bouncy house and play carnival games for a chance to win prizes. While the tots are occupied, start checking off your Christmas list with gifts from more than 50 vendors, including books, food and crafts from local artisans. Or, pick up some festive holiday cheer for your home from the selection of fresh wreaths, poinsettias and holiday plants. A $15 bracelet grants you access to activities in the Upper Gym area, plus carnival games, the bouncy house and one free popcorn. Other activities require tickets or cash purchase. All ages.
