Brooklyn Book Festival

In the Target Children's Area, kids ages 1 to 9 can listen to readings by their favorite authors: Mo Willem (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus); Selina Alko (My Subway Ride);  Peter Brown, reading from his new book, You Will Be My Friend!; and Sophie Blackall, creator of the Ivy and Bean series. At the Youth Stoop (ages 10 and up), tweens can meet-and-greet such talents as Judy Blundell, author of Strings Attached, and three-time Newbery Honor–winning author Jacqueline Woodson. Young illustrators Bob Shea and Matthew Myers will also participate in a "dinosaur draw-off." All ages.
