This first-ever cross-cultural, bilingual family event, sponsored by Bilingual Buds and A Little Mandarin, will showcase a mingling of both Chinese American and Latin American performances. The Mencius Youth Orchestra & EastRiver Ensemble, Elena Moon Park, and Sonia De Los Santos among others, are scheduled to perform. The festival will also feature a Chinese lion dance by the Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Lion Dance School as well as a salsa performance by dancers from NYSalsababy. Proceeds will go towards APEX and the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families. All ages.
