Bay Ridge Play Place

This daycare center and nursery school’s philosophy is to promote learning and appropriate behavior with positive reinforcement—instructors ensure that each child transitions naturally into his or her environment at Bay Ridge Play Place at a pace they’re comfortable with. Depending on the child’s age group, each classroom is filled with age-appropriate learning materials, toys and child-friendly furniture. The Penguin Room (2–3.5 years), for example, offers quiet reading and coloring time, story time and puzzle time, while the Dolphin Room offers Table Time (table toys/fine motor skill activities) and outdoor play.
