Bastille Day 2017

Say “bonjour” to every Francophile’s favorite event of the summer with this annual celebration of the Gallic holiday. Organized by the French Institute Alliance Française, the city’s biggest party sees three city blocks close to traffic for festivities touting the flavors, history and culture of our friends across the Atlantic. Devour treats like crêpes, éclairs au chocolat and macarons from some of the city’s top French bakeries—Dominique Ansel Bakery, Francois Payard Bakery and Financier Patisserie— as you enjoy the cancan dancers or the vintage Citroën car show.
