No Longer Empty, a public art organization, and the Immigrant Movement International take over a 1920s bank in Long Island City for Valentine's-themed activities that foster appreciation for the community's immigrant population. After perusing records brought to the U.S. by immigrants, families can explore the international beats by selecting one to spin on a turntable. Then, tots will learn to plant different seeds that are considered "weeds" (but are in fact edible and beautiful) before dressing up for a photo booth session with their loved ones. Event is located at 29-27 41st Ave. All ages.
