Amelia Bedelia 50th Anniversary Reading with Herman Parish

Come celebrate the (exact!) golden anniversary of perennial kid favorite Amelia Bedelia with a reading led by Herman Parish, the nephew of creator Peggy Parish and the current author of the series. He'll be stopping by Bank Street Bookstore for a reading and signing of Amelia Bedelia: Fiftieth Anniversary Edition (Greenwillow Books; $15), a facsimile of the original Amelia Bedelia that includes archival photos, vintage ads, sketches and a timeline illustrating how the character has changed over the years. Ages 2 to 5.
