As part of the Lincoln Center Out of Doors fest, Australian children's theater troupe Polyglot is setting up the makings of a messy web of fun called Tangle. Part interactive performance, part art installation, Tangle gets kids and their families busy creating, playing inside and getting tangled up in a bouncy, colorful web made of giant elastic bands wrapped around 25 vertical poles of various heights. The Polyglot "Weavers" help facilitate kids' ideas and intentions, while a changing soundtrack, which goes from circus music to techno blips and bleeps, inspires families to come up with ever-changing designs. Free. All ages.
