Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark

Directed by Tony Award winner Julie Taymor (The Lion King, Across the Universe), this tuner boasts a superhero story line, actors that swing through the theater on harnesses and original songs by U2 bandmembers Bono and the Edge. The Marvel Comics-inspired plot follows geeky teen Peter Parker, who finds himself with powers characteristic of an arachnid after he's bitten by a spider. Currently in previews, the musical is set to officially open March 15. Ages 8 and up.
