The jolly holiday on Broadway continues every time everyone's favorite English nanny lands onstage at the New Amsterdam. Equally based on the classic 1964 movie and P.L. Travers's original, darker novel, the show retains the magic of the film but adds a few twists that will surprise those familiar only with Disney's version of the story. The book is by Julian Fellowes; theatergoers will find a smart, somber-hued extravaganza crisply staged by Richard Eyre and wittily choreographed by Matthew Bourne. Ages 3 and up.
