Time Out says

This 1,821-seat venue was created in 1996-98 by combining the adjacent Apollo and Lyric Theatres (themselves built in 1903 and 1920, respectively). Originally named the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, the Hilton was rechristened in 2005 for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Recent seasons have not been so kind to this massive, lavish barn, which feels more like a Cincinnati civic center than a Broadway house. Mel Brooks's Young Frankenstein was a flop but the newest resident is a megabudget musical about Spider-Man.
