Heron & Crane

Time Out says

The New York International Fringe Festival is best known for offbeat, edgy fare, but a trio of entries—dubbed FringeJR—are specifically aimed at kids. Texas's Da! Theatre Collective presents the story of two birds of different feathers—a neat-freak heron and a sloppy crane—who must learn to get along. The original Russian folk tale lacks a happy ending, so the troupe canvasses the audience for suggestions on how to make one, then improvises the final scene. Ages 4 to 12.
