Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz

If you didn’t get to see the extremely popular Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz at the 92nd Street Y, don’t worry, it’s coming back! You can catch the show every weekend starting July 20, until the end of the month. The play retells the iconic story of Dorothy—with a few fun twists! Starting her journey on 92nd and Lexington Avenue, Dorothy travels over the rainbow to befriend the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion—eventually traveling to, what she ultimately desires, Oz. Along the way, the audience plays a major role in determining how she gets to Oz and helps “build” the Yellow Brick Road she travels on. With a click of ruby red high top sneakers, youngsters will be transported to a whole new world of wonder! Ages 2–11.
