Tucked in one of the few remaining low-rise 19th century buildings in the Financial District, Wall Street Burger Shoppe provides another quick-bite option for the nabe’s residents and the working hordes who descend upon the area each day. The first floor interior with chrome accents, a long formica counter and subway tiles, designed from remnants of a reclaimed diner, is spare and timeless, as are the well-priced burgers. Upstairs has an old-school pub feeling and more expensive bar fare ranging from chopped chicken livers ($8) to a cheese board ($16) and a NY Strip Steak ($19).
