The menu at this neighborhood café incorporates as many locally sourced, seasonal and organic ingredients as possible; a bookshelf features the work of area authors. Kids may gravitate toward the peanut butter, banana and honey (or Nutella and banana) panini, and adults will appreciate the changing selection of salads and the "Red Neck," a breakfast wrap with hominy grits, smoked ham, scrambled eggs and farmhouse cheddar. The house-made desserts are crowd-pleasers, especially the triple-chocolate brownies. Almost everything is made on-site, right down to the mayonnaise.
