The big moment is inching closer: the return to school.
After much debate—and the threat of a strike—the NYC DOE is resuming class on Sept 21, several days later than the initial Sept 10 start. Soon, school buses will hit NYC streets, children will swipe through subway turnstiles and blended learning will be underway.
In order to prepare for the new term, the city will have free priority virus testing for NYC DOE students and faculty this week at 22 locations throughout the city. Results will be available within 48 hours. The testing sites are as follows:

- Jacobi Hospital
- Lincoln Hospital
- North Central Bronx Hospital
Brooklyn
- Gotham Health: Cumberland
- Gotham Health: East New York
- Gotham Health: Jonathan Williams
- Ida G. Israel Hospital
- Kings County Hospital
- Woodhull Hospital
Manhattan
- Gotham Health: Dyckman
- Gotham Health: Gouvernur
- Gotham Health: St. Nicholas
- Gotham Health: Sydenham
- Bellevue Hospital
- Harlem Hospital
- Metropolitan Hospital
Queens
- Gotham Health: Woodside
