Excellent news for the young (and young at heart): FAO Schwarz is now welcoming back customers to its Rockefeller Center flagship.
The iconic NYC toy store took to Instagram to share the exciting announcement, and we think a Patrick puppy or toy soldier just might be in your future. (C'mon, the kiddos need a pick-me-up after these past few months.)
Not unlike its neighboring family attractions and stores, FAO is taking extra precautions for its visitors. Face masks are mandatory, sanitation stations have been set up, social distancing will be enforced in entrances, exits, and throughout the store and reduced hours and capacity will be enforced as well.
If you're thinking about making a pitstop with the littles—and perhaps paying a visit to the piano—the store will be open from noon–6pm on Wednesday through Sunday and closed on Monday and Tuesday. Might we suggest perusing the best board games and card games for kids while you're there? Not only are they great for family game nights, but they're a great way to pass the time while you're visiting your favorite park. (The splash pads and swing sets are bound to tire the youngsters out eventually!)
