How many times have you heard that this school year is "unlike any other"? Probably quite a few.
To fill in the gaps of an unusual schedule and fewer after-school program selections, Airbnb wants to take kids on a field trip, and Bill Nye the Science Guy is here to help. Your little scholars can take advantage of 75+ worldly experiences from the comfort of the couch—a street art walk through Buenos Aires ($10 and up), an African penguin sketch class ($14 and up) and even a deep dive under the sea with a shark scientist ($19), among others.
"We want everyone, kids especially, to be curious,” Nye said in a statement. “Asking questions and seeking answers is how we make discoveries and learn about the world around us. We’ll encourage questions and share facts with a new generation about some of this year’s hottest topics in science. It’ll be a blast."
He will be hosting a particularly timely and engaging class: "Decoding the Science of 2020."
