Santa is back in the North Pole for the foreseeable future, so we're no longer required to share sweets. (Bad move on your part, Saint Nick.)
Now that Girl Scout Cookie season is officially underway, we're really in celebratory mode. Ready a glass of milk for dunking: Samoas, Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos and other beloved flavors are yours for the taking. If you really want to get fancy, swap out that milk for the best hot chocolate in NYC and then you've really got yourself a party!
Now that you're undoubtedly convinced to make a purchase, here's how to do so:
The Cookie Finder
Head to the Girl Scouts website and plug in your zip code. Then, locations within your area that are selling cookies will appear. Be sure to check frequently, as troops might have different selling plans.
The Girl Scout Cookie Finder App
Serious about those sweets? We recommend that you download this handy app on iOS or Android. You'll learn where and when cookie booths are situated in your area, plus you'll see what flavors you can snag at different locations.
The Digital Cookie Platform
Have a Girl Scout you'd like to support? Ask for the link to her Digital Cookie Platform and buy a box from her directly!
Even more reason to get excited? A new flavor—Lemon Up—is among the delicious lineup. The tart biscuit is coated with glaze and is extra desirable, especially with its empowering messages like "I'm a leader," "I am an innovator" and "I am a risk-taker"—ideal for pint-sized cookie entrepreneurs. Be sure to stop by Barclays Center on Jan 12 at 9am for the Cookie Rally, which includes fun games, crafts, a cookie rally patch and a free ticket to the Nets vs. Pistons game for Girl Scout Night on Jan 29! Tickets are $30.
