Draw your favorite Nickelodeon characters thanks to these free live classes

Make sure your kiddos have a box of crayons at the ready. 

Nickelodeon announced that it will be doing free live drawing classes on Instagram that will help little viewers bring their favorite characters to life. The schedule (and Instagram handles to visit for the courses) are as follows: 

• April 16 at 3pm ET: @nickelodeon with Ant Blades, It's Pony creator 
• April 17 at 3pm ET: @theloudhousecartoon with Jessica Borutski, supervising director 
• April 21 at 3pm ET: @nickjr with Kevin Kobasic, storyboard artist 
• April 24 at 3pm ET: @spongebob with Pablo Smith, animation director 

Naturally, we are totally prepared for this exciting challenge. (Since we've been practicing sketching our favorite Disney princesses for the last week.) After creating a masterpiece, we suggest watching some of those awesome cartoons for kids to see how your family's creations stack up to the real thing! You can also find free Nickelodeon coloring book pages online, too, so you'll want to keep the art materials handy.
