Get ready to fall in love with an incredible spot along the East River.

Combining modern-day architecture with a blast from Brooklyn's industrial past, Williamsburg's highly-anticipated Domino Park is slated for a grand opening extravaganza on Sunday, June 10 2018 from noon–4pm, and let's just say this waterfront venue is going to be on all New Yorker's lists this summer.

The 6-acre public park, which will be accessible seven days a week from 6–1am, pays homage to the old Domino Sugar Factory that once stood on the grounds. The artifact walk, recreation area and bites from Danny Meyer's Tacocina are all super exciting, but Sweetwater Playground is at the top of our list. Truthfully speaking, we might have to join the kids during their outdoor playdates.

The playground's designer Mark Reigelman will transport youngsters back to the sugar industry by way of slides, conveyor belts, tunnels and other exciting amenities. They'll be able to access three various areas of the attraction, which includes Sugarcane Cabin, Sweetwater Silo and Sugar Cube Centrifuge. The lively colors and metal add a hip factor to the overall aesthetic, and reused wood from factory floors are actually featured throughout the space as well.

We are stoked to get a look at this for ourselves. Plus, there's plenty of options to keep the whole family active, including bocce courts, a beach volleyball court, a dog run and of course, gorgeous sites. Kick off the fun during the opening day activities, which include scoops of ice cream from Van Leeuwen, McNally Jackson read-alongs, STREB performances, tours of the grounds and much more.

If you're looking for us this summer, we'll be in Williamsburg.

Park entrances: Kent Ave at South 5th St, South 3rd St and Grand St
