Looking for one last hoorah before summer comes to a close? You might want to head to Park Slope—and bring an appetite.

On the heels of NYC Restaurant Week, local Brooklyn organizations joined forces to present the neighborhood with Dine in Park Slope. This first-annual event will feature a forkful of deals for restaurants in the area from Aug 20–30. We certainly hope you have room after indulging in all of those prix-fixed dinners!

The Park Slope Fifth Avenue Bid, North Flatbush Bid and Park Slope Chamber of Commerce—a trifecta of Brooklyn goodness—figured August was the time to get something brewing for residents.

"It's the right time of year," said Mark Caserta, the executive of the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Bid. "A lot of merchants were talking about ways to connect to the community, and [we thought] let's create a dining event."

In an effort to bring the neighborhood together and allow residents to explore new venues, Dine in Park Slope was born. Curious about the offerings? Here's what's in store:

You can get a 15 percent discount at Da Nonna Rosa if you mention Dine in Park Slope. You'll be entitled to a free drip of coffee with your Doughnut Plant purchase when you bring up the offer at check-out. Cut down your $10 orders by 25 percent at Ovenly when you mention of this awesome event.
