The Philharmonic Young People’s Concert: Gypsy Airs

Give little music lovers a taste of live classical music in this child-friendly series by the New York Philharmonic. The performance will explore the less traditional influences of Gypsy music on European composers Dvorak and Brahms, and as a bonus, ticket holders may attend the KidZone Live! Music fair (starting at 12:45pm)—a free event where kids may engage in a variety of musical activities (think: trying different instruments, playing musical games and previewing the theme of the day’s concert). Ages 6 to 10.
