As part of its four-city tour, the Japanese dance group Kuromori Kagura, from a part of Japan severely impacted by the 2011 earthquake, will perform two shows at the Japan Society (Sat Oct 27 at 7:30pm, Sun Oct 28 at 5:30pm) and lead families in a special art and dance workshop the same weekend. Kids of all ages and their families will learn kagura dance moves, take part in a craft-making activity and receive blessings from the lion sculpture known as Gon-gen. All ages.
