Essentially Ellington, the annual high school jazz band competition held by Jazz at Lincoln Center, is heading online this year. Performances, public dialogues, master classes, jam sessions and even a cheer tunnel will all be streamed live. Highlights include a Q&A with Wynton Marsalis, and the presentation of the prestigious composition and arranging award to Leo Steinriede of Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA. All ages.
