Two local Brooklynites are teaming up for a good cause. City Stomp Live, composed of five musicians, several of whom teach music classes around the city, will perform rock versions of classic children's songs and world music. Suzi Shelton, a staple in the kids' music scene for more than ten years, will be performing whimsical original songs about jellyfish, sleeping lions and slithering snakes. All ticket proceeds will go to K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) a non-profit that has been consistantly donating goods to kids and teens affected by Hurricane Sandy. New York Cares will also be hosting a coat drive during the concert. All ages.
