The Children's Museum of Manhattan celebrates the creativity and talent of women throughout history with a day of readings and fun activities. On Saturday, dress up in clothes from different cultures with help from the author of Apricot Brown: Miss Undefinable (2pm and 3:30pm, ages 5 and up), then join Shanequa Davis for a reading of Chloe & Her Two Red Shoes on Sunday (2pm and 3:30pm, ages 5 and up). Throughout the weekend, they'll hear Aunt Harriet's Underground Railroad in the Sky and learn about Harriet Tubman and her heroic efforts with the Underground Railroad (Sat and Sun 12:30–1pm, all ages). Prior registration required for author readings. All ages.
