Winter Recess Wonderland at CMOM

Escape the cold weather and head to CMOM for some holiday programming. On both days, kids will create ornaments for the new year to place on the museum’s Holiday Wishing Tree! Design a Rockettes costume and create a collage using newspaper and magazine clippings with artist Shanti Grumbine on December 28, then make holiday decorations and join in on a Caribbean holiday musical performance with Jose Obando (December 29). On December 30, create a 3D holiday window display and learn about the science of light and the sun at interactive science sessions, and don’t miss a fun New Year's dance party, ball drop and parade as well as workshop where you’ll create New Year’s noisemakers on December 31. All ages.
