To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the "Helpers, Heroes and Liberators" series presents programs to honor Holocaust victims and survivors. This family event honors the liberation of the Mauthausen Concentration camp on Mary 6, 1945, where prisoners had sewn together a U.S. flag from scraps of sheets and jackets. Author Susan Golman Rubin, plus a surviving member of the 11th Armored Division will be in attendence. Reservations recommended. Ages 12 and up.
