Time Out says

Young museumgoers who've visited the DiMenna Children's History Museum already know something about the 19th-century "orphan trains," which shipped parentless children out West. During this storytime for older kids, participants will learn about Cuba's Operation Pedro Pan in 1961, when 14,000 children were sent to Miami. Based on the author's own experience, 90 Miles to Havana follows a boy named Julian and his brother as they struggle to build themselves a new life in the States while fending off a whole new slew of bullies. Ages 9 to 12.
