Discover how marine life uses locomotion to escape from predators, hunt for food and find mates. Throughout the day kids can head to exploration stations where they’ll speak with scientists, look at Museum collections and participate in interactive activities. Scientists John Calambokidis, Frank Fish and Lou Marino will lead little ones in a discussion on their research on whales, dolphins and bioinspiration. Don’t miss the live interactive presentation where kids will learn about shark, sea turtle and octopus locomotion through a demonstration featuring puppetry props and touchable artifacts. All ages.
