Inquisitive kids are invited to expand their horizons by attending a meet-and-greet with a working scientist at the AMNH Discovery Center. First the scientist introduces what he or she does, explaining how they got interested in their field and the kinds of tools and methods they use, then opens up the session to a friendly Q&A. On June 6, chat with Curator Mark Siddall and learn how the exhibit "Life at the Limits" relates to his work with leeches and parasites. Free passes are available at the Discovery Center entrance on the day of the event, on a first-come, first-served basis. Ages 7 to 14.
