Make It/Take It Saturday: Nano Day

Kids can learn all about nanotechnology (the study of extremely small materials) and its influence on everything from sunscreen to liquid crystal display screens. Tots will test Memory Metals, Nano Fabric, and learn about the physical properties of everyday objects on a nano scale. Today is also a Make it Saturday at the museum, which means visitors can attend drop-in art and science workshops centered around themes like the night sky, wind power, and engineering. All ages.
