Mini minecraft-lovers and other video game gurus have likely mastered the art of virtual building and design. Now, let them discover how these digital blueprints come to life through CMA's new collection of 3D-printed elements. Children's artwork from the museum's galleries will be supplemented with 3-D replications, allowing visitors to compare the two forms. Created in partnership with 3DP4E (3D Printing for Everyone)—a new company setting out to empower via tech, design and entrepreneurism—CMA will present an educational film describing the 3-D printing process. Make sure to drop in at one of the "Experimenting with Dimensions" fine arts workshops related to the exhibit. Ages 6 and up.
