During the fall, Children's Museum of Manhattan will be celebrating Indian American artists, chefs and other creatives all season long. Children and their families can learn how to cook healthy chaat, a popular street food, with The Culture Tree's chef Anu Sehgal (Nov. 10, ages 6 and older); use paper and patterns to create prints with Shelly Bahl (Nov. 18, ages 6 and up); watch an energetic dance performance from Ajna Dance Company and then learn some of the moves (Dec. 1, all ages, ticket required); or design a necklace that represents Om, the basic sound of the universe (December 15, ages 6 and older, sign-up required). Tickets and reservations are free, but must be procured in the lobby before the event.
