Families are invited to fete author Theodor Geisel's special day with Seussian readings and workshops during a fun celebration at the Children's Museum of the Arts. Youngsters will craft wearable appendages from the animal kingdom, inspired by I Wish That I Had Duck Feet, make a 3D, pop-up Cat in the Hat, try their hands at printmaking, mold characters from clay and even create their own stop-motion animated shorts. Readings of Seuss' famous titles will take play all day, and little ones even get to record their own rhymes in a sound booth. All ages.
