Honor our planet with a full week of fun activities at the Brooklyn Children's Museum. Kids can turn trash into art, meet live sea creatures and learn to care for different plants, plus pop in at special programs throughout the week. First, help plant ceramic seed vessels in the museum's outdoor garden (April 4) and watch eco-themed episodes of the PBS Kids show, Cyberchase (April 4-6). Then meet a local farmer's chickens (April 8), learn about butterfly gardening with Friends of Brower Park (April 9, 12) and catch a musical puppetry performance of Butterfly Boogie by Wildlife Theater (April 9, 11). Cap things off by generating electricity with a bicycle (April 12).
