City kids spend the week brushing up on the history of our city, where they'll discover what life was like in Colonial New York and cringe at tales of war, disease and fifth during Dutch and British rule. Educators, librarians, conservators and curators will lead the group in their exploration, presenting artifacts, documents and paintings along the way. Using what they've learned, campers will crate a pop-up exhibition on New York in the 17th and 18th centuries at the end of the week. For current 6th, 7th and 8th graders only. to register, email camphistory@nyhistory.org. Ages 11–15.
