The Staten Island Children's Museum will kick off Black History Month with a variety of hands-on programs and workshops celebrating culture. Junior chefs can experiment with Caribbean cooking on Fridays in February (3 and 4pm), an art workshop celebrating André Leon Talley and model Duckie Thot (Feb 19–21 from 11am–4pm), an exploration of the Underground Railroad, followed by a project (Feb 20 1, 2, 3 and 4pm) and a variety of other activities.
