In this hourlong program, families tour the globe by discovering the art of myriad countries together. "Lurking in the Greek Imagination..." on Aug 25 sends kids exploring mythological creatures on vases and sculptures, with storytelling to follow. In September, native city babes can learn about their hometowns 100 years ago through paintings and the Brian Slattery string band (Sept 29), and in October, "The Power of Patterns" shows kids how patterns can be found in fabrics, music and art when musician Nina Stern plays the recorder (Oct 27). November's theme is "Dutch Treat", in which they'll hear music from the Dutch Golden Age and check out paintings of everyday life in Holland. Ages 5 to 12.
