Supplementing its music-centric exhibit, "Jazzed! The Changing Beat of 125th Street," CMOM has wrangled a star-studded lineup of performers to bring the legacy of jazz in America front-and-center for NYC kids. A varied roster of singer-songwriters, composers, musicians and dancers—many of whom have graced the stages at some of NYC most iconic institutions—will sing, scat, tap and swing for young audiences through October. Kids can channel the Harlem Renaissance through 30s-style swing music, jazz tinged with international influence and other performances from the likes of Chad Lefkowitz Brown, Omar Edwards and Oran Etkin. Check the website for a full lineup. Space is limited and tickets are required. Tickets are distributed one hour before each event at the Visitor Information Desk on the 1st floor. All ages.
