Artist Yuko Nii founded the non-profit WAH Center in 1996 as a way to showcase the work of artists of varying disciplines and level of recognition. Various music, dance and theatrical productions, poetry and stage readings, and lectures take place in its landmark Kings County Savings Bank building.
