Czech stop-motion master Jiri Barta's flick makes its world premiere in English, featuring the voices of Forest Whitaker, Joan Cusack and Cary Elwes. The Soviet-era allegory may go over some kids' heads, but they're sure to find this doll-napping tale enthralling nonetheless. Ages 7 and up.
